PW 600 Inline
Fully automatic pallet inverting and changing
Baust pallet changers using the inverting method offer a lot of advantages: They are leakage-free, low-maintenance, low-noise and suited for many different pallet sizes and qualities. The PW 600 Inline makes it possible to use all these proven qualities of stand-alone pallet inverter PW 600 in a fully automated conveyor line.

Pallet changing with the PW 600 Inline
If pallets need to be changed or rotated in an automated system, the choice is the PW 600 Inline pallet inverter. In continuous operation, all steps of the turning process can be done gently and automatically without burdening an employee with the empty pallet handling. The new empty pallet is fixed by the centering of the pallet inverter and turned to the upper position. The loaded pallet then moves into the inverter and is clamped from above and below. This is followed by the 180 ° rotation and the opening of the loading tables. The side door opens and the rotated pallet is unloaded without the source palette.
After this process, the goods stand upside down. If this is not desired, the automated tilting procedure of the pallet changer PW 800 Inline is an alternative. If the pallet inverter is only used for the 180° turning, the empty pallet, which remains in the inverter, can be directly used again for the next cycle. If pallets have to be exchanged, the empty source pallet must be turned back and transported away via the conveyor system.
We recommend the pallet inverter PW 600 Inline for 30 changes per hour.

- performance: up to 60 changes per hour
The modern and robust pallet changers from Baust material flow systems can carry out up to 50 changes per hour. The pallet inverters can also be easily integrated in fully-automated material flow systems. You can exchange any pallets with this pallet inverter. Whether Euro-pallets on plastic pallets for the hygiene sector, on space-saving Düsseldorf pallets or on disposable pallets for transport outside Europe – the Baust pallet changer finishes the job for you quickly and reliably. Here, it doesn’t matter how high the pallet is loaded. The goods only have to withstand the pressure from the side arms.
The PW 500 offers the simplest and therefore most economical variant of palletizing and is particularly suitable for pressure-stable and insensitive goods that can withstand a lot.
PW 500 Inline
The most efficient solution to get robust and pressure resistant goods from one pallet to another fully automatically. The PW 500 Inline offers the proven clamping method for conveyor lines.
For a pallet changer with a turning process, the pallet is held on three sides. The entire stack is turned by 180 degrees “on its head”. That way, the pallets – which are now on top – can be easily exchanged. In industries in which the orientation of the goods is not important, the new pallet can also be placed on the goods first, and then the entire stack can be removed directly after being turned by the pallet inverter. In this variant, only the old pallet has to be lifted off afterwards.
In the pallet changer tilting process, we secure two side walls of the goods and tilt it by 100° to the back. The pallet moves down for the change and can be replaced ergonomically. Then it is pressed back onto the goods and tilted back to the initial position with the pallet changer. Both variations of pallet inverters can be loaded and unloaded with a lift truck as well as a forklift. They change up to 40 pallets per hour. They are available as a freestanding stand-alone element as part of a material flow system.
The pallet inverter PW 600 is ideal where robust goods such as e.g. bagged goods or big-bags are involved. Both poor pallet quality and varying sizes of pallet present no problem.
PW 600 Inline
To change or rotate loaded pallets in a fully automated environment, the choice is the PW 600 Inline.
The PW 700 from Baust is particularly suitable for the speedy pallet changing of robust goods such as bags. Also the exchange of damaged pallets presents no problem for the PW 700. Exactly as with the PW 600 this pallet changer applies the inverting method.
PW 800 E
The simplest pallet changer with tilting method is suitable for tilt-stable goods such as cardboard boxes or crates and does not require side walls and pallet clamps due to the 92° angle.
With the PW 800 from Baust, the pallet change is done by a backward tilting movement from 100 to 135°. The pallet changer PW 800 with side walls and pallet clamp is ideal for unsecured loads such as, e.g. drums, sacks or big-bags.
PW 800 Inline
The pallet changer PW 800 Inline offers a tilting method which has maximum automation and changing performance. The integration in further conveyor technology with additional components such as pallet magazines or packaging machines is possible quite easily.
With the slide-over process, the side walls of the pallet changer encompass the goods very carefully in order to prevent toppling or falling over. The source pallet stands somewhat higher than the previously placed destination pallet. Then, the pallet changer pushes the entire stack carefully onto the destination pallet. Afterwards, it can be easily picked up with a forklift or lift truck. The powerful pallet inverters from Baust material flow systems can handle up to 60 changes per hour with this technology. The pallet changer with the slide-over process is suitable both as a freestanding stand-alone element as well as part of a conveyor system. The units can be loaded alternately from the front and back side and are thereby also usable as a hygienic lock in the food or pharmaceuticals industry. At the same time, pallet changers with the slide-over process are very space-saving.
The PW 1000 ensures a precise and smooth operation where exchange of pallets for large and robust goods is frequently necessary. Its particular attributes are the Plug & Play construction and the simple operation.
The pallet changer PW 2000 encloses the goods very securely – two flexible side walls together with the rear wall secure the goods from three sides. Additional sliding plates ensure a particularly gentle exchange of pallets of highly sensitive goods.
The PW 3000 from Baust offers a clever two-way solution. The pallet changer allows loading and unloading from both the front and rear of the machine and is often used in clean room airlocks.
The PW 4000 is the extended version of the PW 2000 with conveyor technology. Due to the one-sided infeed and discharge of the pallets, the pusher is predestined for a niche location.
The PW 5000 from Baust can be loaded from both ends and be utilized as a fully automated sluice in clean room areas requiring hygienic separation. This makes the pallet changer indispensable, particularly in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
The PW 6000 from Baust is ideal when large quantities of pallets on which highly sensitive goods is stored have to be exchanged. A one-sided material flow and optimized processes are the basis for the most powerful pallet changer.
